Booker Travel · Split
Booker Travel's half-day speedboat trip goes to Trogir, the Blue Lagoon at Krknjaši and a beach bar, and has you back in Split five hours later. There is no Blue Cave on it: pick it when ten hours at sea is too much, or when the cave is closed anyway.

Get the name straight first. The Blue Lagoon on this trip is Krknjaši bay, by the island of Drvenik Veli west of Trogir. It is not the Blue Cave, and it is not the Budikovac lagoon near Vis that the full-day tours call a blue lagoon. Our Blue Cave or Blue Lagoon guide sets the three side by side.
The day is short and simple. Thirty minutes by speedboat to Trogir, a town on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1997, for an hour of walking. Then 15 minutes to the lagoon for an hour of swimming and snorkelling in shallow, very clear water. Then 20 minutes to a beach bar, Borkko, for another hour; Maslinica on Šolta may replace it. Water, food and drinks are listed as included.
Booker Travel runs it from the same office as its Blue Cave day. Wind makes the ride bumpy, and strong wind cancels it: you then get a refund, a new date or another trip. The cave on Biševo shuts in the same southerly swell, so this is also the trip to switch to when your Blue Cave day falls through.
The agency office in Split; your voucher gives the time.
Speedboat up the coast, then an hour in the old town.
Swim and snorkel in the shallow bay at Krknjaši near Drvenik Veli.
Borkko beach bar, or Maslinica on Šolta, for a drink and another swim.
The speedboat home: you're back about five hours after you left.
